Robin Tunneys

Robin Tunneys (born 1990) is a Kemburg footballer playing for Grijzestad Strijders and the Kemburg national football team as a midfielder or forward.

Career[]

Club career[]

An explosive player, Tunneys started his youth career at North Beach Kemburg before transferring to Battery in the summer of 2010 for an estimated K£ 1 million. Tunneys is one of the best players in his position as well as a free-kick specialist. He has scored four goals in five appearances in the 2013-14 First Division.

In January 2014, on the 2nd of January, Tunneys moved to Grijzestad Strijders for a hefty fee of $12m, as a replacement for Gigo who moved to Napoli in the Summer. At Grijzestad Tunneys has become a central figure in attack, primarily as a provider and with his assists. 

National team[]

Tunneys made his first appearance for the national team in 2012, for a WFC 2012 qualifier. He is a regular starter on the team and can be placed as an attacking mid or as a playmaking forward, though usually in the former position.

During the WFC 2014 qualifiers, Tunneys was the team's most important player, scoring five goals to become Kemburg's top scorer there.

Style of play[]

Tunneys is a pacey dribbler who usually played as an attacking midfielder or striker for Battery FC in their 4-3-2-1 formation. At Grijzestad Tunneys has kept much the same role of provider to the forwards.
